If the machine has to be braked or brought to a standstill in a short time, the motor at the inverter runs in regenerative mode. The resulting energy can be dissipated with a brake resistor.
The ERBU brake resistors are designed as metal cartridges and are mounted directly on the inverter. They are connected via a ready-made connecting cable and since they are intrinsically safe, no temperature monitoring is required.
